Hey Guys-

I've got an 07 450ER, and I seem to be struggling getting it jetted correctly..

The elevation here is 2520, It has a stage 1 cam, CP 12.5:1 piston, full yosh system, k & n filter (airbox lid on, snorkel removed).. the way it is now at a steady throttle it seems to have a little "sputter" in it,

surely somebody is running nearly the same setup..

Thanks

Right now the were at the top click on the needle, and the jet is a 128.
It seems to run worse with any bigger jets, but everyone seems to be saying it should have a much bigger jet in it?

Well you have the air box lid on and the snorkel removed.
Having the snorkel removed leaves a big weird shaped hole in the front of the air box. It's not a common thing to do so for people online to recommend you jetting will be hard.

You'll just have to jet based on how it runs.

Which needle are you running?
You say its on the top clip right now?

i would try a 162 main a 45 pilot 3rd clip on the needle put the snorkel back on and take the air box top off or cut out the bout 6in square indention and if u want about 1000 more rpm then do the green wire mod if u dont have it

The jet kit I have says "2006 Honda TRX450R" - the largest jet in the kit is a 140 though, and the instructions say-

"For mildly tuned machines with the stock airbox and the Intake Snorkel removed, with a stock or aftermarket filter

mild means a slip on jet kits arnt worth buyin go to your local honda dealer and try the jets i recommended. you might have to try yamaha i had to cuz the yfz got almost the same carb the jets r the same the jet kit i got had a 175 jet for mine and it was to rich they changed to a bigger bore carb in 06 so u dont have to use as big of jets like the 04-05 i had one of those to. also do the green wire mod it will give u 2 dyno proven hp

I thought the 04-05 ran a smaller jet than the 06 +?

06's run smaller jets because they use FCR carbs.
