Here is what I have a 2001 trx 90 with a115cc kit in it, 200x kehlin carb unifilter, & fmf power core4 pipe. Before winter it had a slight hestation at 1/4 throttle we took apart & cleaned out real good & wanted to change pilot but no one had any. My son had to go back to school & it sat all winter long on work bench not put together, so I not being a great mechanic put it back & have had nothing but problems.
Here is what i have in carb, & my engine builder retook apart carb to make sure I didnt do anything wrong. main jet 108, pilot 38, needle in the middle, fuel screw 2 1/2 turns. Here is what it is doing:
Idles ok liittle high then revs down, 0-1/4 throttle ok 1/4-1/2 boggs out looses power, 1/2 - full wants to die. Full choke sounds good but revs real fast. I have tried different mains of 100 105 108 112 120 130, & everything seems the same. I didnt do anything but put back together. Checked for air leak in carb boot, sprayed soapy water over engine & carb to see air leaks & checked air into gas cap. I have no freakin clue. Oh & plug seemed a little wet not much though, PLEASE help. I know there are a lot of good brains on here,

Thanx Ken

What's your motor builder have to say about it?

I briught quad up to him to listen & tell me what he thought & that is when he took carb apart & said ok, without him having anytime to take apart, he just listened & thought def not getting enough fuel on main & i changed that quick & sounds the same, sounds like an air leak somewhere, just confusd,

Thanx Though

It sounds like there is crud in the carb somewhere.
Some have to boil the carb to get the lil passages clean.
