well i ordered some knock off kit for like $50 shipped. looks great and all but the front sprocket doesnt fit on the grooves that it goes on. i have an 06 and my stock gearing is 14/39 i believe. i ordered this kit to replace my worn out stuff. i have a jt 13t front sprocket brand new that i havent used. i was wondering if the chain i have (520/94) will work on the 39t rear sprocket with the 13t front sprocket without taking out links...? need help asap.

it should work, you'll just have to tighten the chain a little more.

chains i have gotten in the past had to be cut to fit cause they aren't made for each bike but more of a general length

man if you can get it to fit the first time it will stretch from there on out. just rotate the carrier bearing and you should be good. if that's not enough. use two master links. i'd like to say more but i have never learned a whole lot about chains. i just order for my model of quad and when it shows up, i trim off what i don't need. but adjust that carrier so it's in the middle of the camming motion. or all the way forward and cut it "ONE" link too long.
hope that helps a little.

I run a 13T front and 39T rear and the same chain works fine. Just adjust the chain tension per the manual and you are good to go.
