I know this is the 400ex thread, and I am a proud owner of a 400ex. But I was recently given a fairly old, small 65cc dirtbike that I plan on rebuilding and making pretty sweet. The only thing I have no clue about are shocks on dirtbikes. The front and back are both blown completely and I was wondering how I could fix these pretty reasonably. I want them to be fairly stiff because I intend to goof off on this little thing and want the shocks to be able to support my 190 lb frame. Any ideas how to rig up some stiffer shocks?

If I remember right my friend replaced the seals on his 250 pretty easily. And I think if you add more oil that makes them stiffer? I'm not really sure though as I'm not a dirtbike guy either. See if you can find a manual, that should help a lot

negetory, will just make them find a shorter full compression, in less time, still be same plush but will feel like bottoming out much sooner. it hurts. damn yz250:rolleyes:
