Would this work out right?

Well i know that the 300ex/250x are pretty much the same motor but with differnt bore size and all and the 250 has the kick start. My question is could it be possible to get a right size case and put it onto my 300 so i could have a kickstart backup ?

It is the stroke that is different. Im not to sure on this one though... I think you would have to drill into your case though. I say this because the starter leaver has to go through into the case so it dont fall off. also im not sure what other mods you would have to do to make this work. Yes it can be done but with alot of work...

cant you just take the 300s side case off and bolt up a 250x side case with teh kicker on there and stuff or doesnt it work like this?
