This will be my first oil change for my 400. This was a left over 06 and I will be taking it today for the first time on the trails. Dealer said change after about 8 hours since it was prepped and oil just put in prior to shipping to me. What do you guys recommend for the first oil change? Stick with conventional oil for a couple changes and then switch to synthetic or switch right away? Do I need to change the oil filter as well on the first change?

On a side note who sells the UNI air filters?

Yes change the filter and use synthetic oil. When I had my 400 I changed oil quite frequently.

you probably need to use conventional oil for about 8-10 hours so that the rings and everything can seat. after that you can switch to synthetic.
