Taller Riders - Handlebar Bends?

I'm looking at a CR Double Hi or ATV bend - I'm 6'2" and dune ride. What do you think is better for myself? I sit down most 3/4 of the time.

im 6'2" and i find the raptor bend on my pro tapers to be comfortable. but then again i have pretty lanky arms.

im 6'3. On a 450R i run a +1 stem and 12 degree bend flex bars. All i do is MX so i am on my feet i would say 80 percent of the time.

Aren't Atv bend bars a few inches higher than a CR high or double Hi bend?

Typically,yes. I think the Banshee bend or quad racer bend is the highest.

Ya I think you're correct on that.. I put the banshee bends on mine because I have a IMS tank on my R and I wanted the bars to be high to clear the tank without having to buy a stem. But I'll tell you what I really like them because I'm not so bent over when I'm riding and the pull back is just right.. I had a pro taper RM bend before and it was way to stright and low for me!

I had a set of OLD fly bars I think once, they were higher then the banshee bends I have now but they looked so goofy I couldn't stand having them on the bike lol.. :blah:

If a YZ bend was too low for me - height is 97mm I think whereas Double Hi is 117mm or so - that's like an inch. How do I tell if that's enough height or should I just get an ATV bend?

I still prefer my handlebars little lower. +1 Stem on a 450R with atv bend Tag T2 bars. I'm 6'4", without heels lol

Best bet is to get a longer stem or risers like Roxx. Get a 2" riser and you can use a lot of different bar bends you wont have to go with the highest. I just want bars to sit 1" higher than stock with less pullback for mine being a taller rider. I dont tall bars, stock bars look good if you take the center out it looks like an old motorcylce ape hanger but if you get a longer stem or risers and bars to make it higher too rather tan just relying on the bars it looks much better.

My stem is +2 but on jumps or hard front breaking my feet want to come off the pegs and lean over the bars! :eek2:
