will an 88-89 swinger fit onto an 86 bike with no problem?or mods?

i dont think you can just bolt it on. you would probably have to mod frame cause you wouldnt be able to use rear engine mount with that swingarm...

Yes it will bolt right on. I have an 86' Frame with an 89' swing arm. You can either just run with out that rear mount, that is how this one was run for years or you will have to weld up a rear mount. That is what I am going to do. Other than that, it bolts right up.

if your machine is even slightly modded. DO NOT JUST NOT USE THE REAR MOUNTS. those are 4 MAJOR MOUNTS THAT NEED TO BE USED. its not hard to make the bottom ones but the top is a beotch.
