i was wondering if case splitters are worth it i got a Cr 250 i got to split its my friends and i bought this case splitter my friend said i shouldn't need it though it should just fall apart. i would also use it on my 400ex and 450r.

i dont know if its worth or not but they sure as hell dont just fall apart.

Sometimes you need them, sometimes you don't. And other times, you need even more specialty tools.

i definately think case splitters are worth it, ive split cases both ways. a splitter is faster, easier, and you wont damage the gasket surfaces.

same case splitter is a couple bucks from rockymountain atv.

yea i thought they would be faster. i guess it was a god thing to buy then i still haven't received it yet though. i was wondering does a fly wheel spin of or does it just pull directly off?
