i just picked this thing up its a 05 zx600.

NICE!! i've wanted a bike since i was probably 5 and am looking to buy one maybe towards next fall or so. ive had my eyes on the 636s and the newer (06 and up) gsxrs. let me know how you like that thing.

so far this thing rips a 06 gixxer 600 is just a hair slower than this bike

when i broke my back i met so many guys with amputated legs and brain injuries from cars hitting them on everything from cruisers to rockets, be safe out there, one guy got hit by a car running a redlight , then he went to get up and the light had changed to green and another guy had a glare apparently and ran him over and crushed his leg, he was uninjured from the first car at 40mph but that 2nd one did a number

I hope your didnt toally say goodbye atv, youll miss it. I own a 99 R6 to play on tho. Street bikes can be fun but if i had to give one up it would be the bike. The reason your bike is a tad bit faster is the fact that the ZX6 is actually a 636. I forget what year that started but il almost 90% sure the 05 falls under the 636 bikes

Own a fast 02 600, traded the quad. And trust me, you'll miss the quad. I regret it, my 600 almost feels slow to me now. You'll keep wanting more speed. The acceleration is the only thing that makes you feel its more fun than the quad, like the guy above said, you'll miss it

I made the switch a few years ago, selling the 400ex to get my first bike. It opens a whole new venue of riding and is a lot of fun. You can make a lot of new friends to ride with and just like quads, its a money pit. Though there are days I miss ice racing and riding but that's why I just ride my dads quad or borrow someone else's...

I honestly don't think streetbikes are as much of a money pit as quads thats one reason I like the street better. Anyways

the guy i get my haircuts at he's got one of them m109's or it looks just like it and he's done some stuff to it and he had his cop friend clock him and it did 0-60 in 2.7seconds,crazy cruisers
