Nice Quad Mr. DGS. Aren't you going to swiss cheese around the gas tank? I noticed Glen Helen they were running no front number plate or a low profile one.

We dont really suffer from hot weather here..!! It gets warm here to say the least..!! I will remove the number plate if i need to but it protects the rad a bit while i am still getting good airflow..checked with a high powered fan..!! I am still waiting for my enduro/XC rims and tires..

margate was hard. just constant deep woops everywhere and it was 25 minuite races. there wasnt a break at all. But was good for getting ready for the season. Im riding this sunday hopefully at a track called foxholes gettin the bike set up and what not.
Yeah that would be good. where are you next riding at?

I had FOX Float evols on before and really couldnt get them sorted...not sure why but just battled with them. I have been riding for Elka for 4yrs back home in South Africa and now i am living in U.K. I know how to setup the Factory's for my style so Yann at Elka helped me out again... It was night and day difference once i set the Factory's up...the rear shock is amazing..

Call Elka for pricing, speak to Yann if you can and tell him you spoke to Shaun...

Where is Foxholes..? The next time i will be riding is Nora mx next weekend..!! I havnt put any time on my new bike..really wanted to but just gonna burn her at the MX...

Well my friend DGS the only thing keeping us from getting rid of the battery all together is the fuel pump needs supply, if we can figure a way to supply it and if we had an aftermarket company or OEM to make a kick it be gone. You know I hate battery's, starter relays/solenoids, complex wire harnesses and circuits, more BS to go wrong...they have no place in MX/XC, us bonified racers can not tolerate primitive knowledge recreational circuit design, so I am looking fwd to the Race Engineers getting rid of the pump voltage requirements simplifying the electrical system eliminating the battery, it's mounting provisions, and circuitry in 2010. It's not Rocket Science so lets do it!

I would like to see the "mx" "sx" stamped quads come without the headlight and tail light - you would think it would cost less to make them and lower the price of the quad a couple of bucks and save us some weight. just my 2C.

I want to cut the fenders but i ride MX and XC and the XC is really wet and muddy...!!! I will save up for spare mudguards and cut them for MX... Thanks for the kind words...

weather is sunny and warm all the way up to this weekend at wroxton. Ill be riding an 09 this weekend But wont be what ill be doing the british on. Still waiting for plastics graphics shocks exhausts.

I like the DS plastics alot more than other companies. They seem alot more resistant to cracking and getting stress marks.

The yellow plastics are good, black on any atv fades and scrathces show in the first 30 seconds.!!LOL

Go for yellow, much better...

The track is awsome. Huge up and down hills. and bit like culham but steeper and not sand so it wont get near as rough! Im not sure what shocks or pipes were going with this year yet. Im letting adrenalin sort it all out. But this weekend ill be running an fmf q4 pipe with my last years fox shocks.

I do know im not staying with the black plastics though! Took them out this weekend to a race and to get th ebike set up an it looks like they have done a season already:(

Get some clear plastic film to put over your decals. We ran black for years always looks sharp! Theres a new black tape out that looks good and keeps the plastic where the leg hits from wearing. It was at the INDY show my son said but he didn't get the info....:rolleyes:
