I'm not getting email notifications from the board and I'm trying to troubleshoot. Can you people reply to this and help me out. I've checked and rechecked my settings but still no luck.

Nope, still not getting any email notifications:confused: I don't know what the deal is. The other night my cousin sent me an email and it took about 9 hours from the time he sent it to the time I received it. I suspect my email server but I had several family members email me last night and they all arrived on time and I'm getting email notifications from other forums. Just not getting any from EXR or CDR. I don't know, I'll call my cable company later on and find out what the dilly-yo is.

Maybe the prob is on the site, check your settings.

I know I have not received any for a long time but I was getting so many mails I put the addy on the block list :)

I've got no clue as to what's going on. I checked my settings and they looked to be OK. I PM'd Ben and he checked it out and said everything looks cool as well. I emailed myself from my work laptop and had my brother send me an email from his accounting office and they arrived fine. I called my ISP and they sent me several test emails and they all arrived fine. They basically told me I was SOL. I don't want to blame the board cause like I said, it took 9 hours for one of my cousin's emails to get here but since then email from him has been fine. I'm able to receive emails from people directly OK and get reply notifications from z400central OK?? Dang is this frustrating. Can some hit the little email button at the bottom of my reply box and try sending me an email through the board?

Once in a while mine will slow way down, it takes 2-3 days to get a reply to a thread, but its been a while since that has happened

Thanks for your help guys. I still haven't received any emails through the board yet so I still don't know what's going on. I checked to make sure my Outlook wasn't filtering emails from the board to a junk list or anything. I'm stumped. I guess I'll just wait a couple of days to see if emails start showing up again.

Go to user cp, then edit options. Make sure this box is checked yes:
Use 'Email Notification' by default?
Using this option emails you whenever someone replies to a thread that you have participated in.

this happened to me not to long ago too after about a week it went bak to normal and i had like 20 pages of email

yea, almost, and Guy, I'm sure your aware but mightas well tell Ben and see if he can do anything.. If not restart your computer or soemthing maybe its just a error that occured in your computer that's not allowing it to happen?:huh

Thanks for the help guys. I had to send an email to my ISP's system administrator and for whatever reason he blocked emails from the site server. I had him turn it back on and all is well again. I don't know, maybe they thought the 60 emails a day was spam coming from this site. They were all titled, "Please un-ban me"...lmao:D

Yeah, I havent been getting them for a while, I just use my user cp. All the other forums I visit work...I guess I'll just live with it.

Good to hear you got it all figured out! Some times I get too many! But deleting them is fast enough! I would really worry if I stopped getting emails from the server!
