my 400 wont start

i got done working on my 400 yesterday and took it off the truck and went to go put it away
it was dark out so i had my lights on i was riding it back to put it away and all the sudden my lights turn off and i have no nuetral light
i checked all the connections and they seem to be fine
anyone know whats up with that or anything else that i can check?

oh and it wont even try to turn over at all
when i hit the start button nothing happens..at all

Have you checked the battery? (check the fuse 1st

that was one of the first things i checked and its fine
and besides the lights wouldent turn off if the engine was running

check the ground wire right off hte battery. its about six inches to the frame mount mine broke and thats exactly what it did. the solder in the connector was almost like powder, cheaply made. i put my own connector on it and re bolted it up after cleaning the frame point, good to go.

i found out what it was
i blew a fuse
i must have missed it when i first looked at it
anyone know why i would blow a fuse tho?
i just put in a stage 1 hotcam and 416 kit and some other small goodies, would that have something to do with it?

I had a buddy have that happen to his...and it NEVER did it again.

No idea what caused it either...
