Any quality hydraulic shop would carry those gauges.
Make sure they are liquid filled and are marked up to around 400 degrees.
That'll give you the most accurate reading right around 200 degrees.
By the time everything is said and done you'd probably be better off buying one from ESR or one off E-gay.
Theres a guy on there who works for ESR and makes his own gauge and in line cooler for cheaper than others.

I made my own. I believe it was 1.5" aluminum rod stock I used. Chucked it up on the lathe and cut fins in it like an inline cooler except for the middle where I pipe tapped a hole for the gauge. I used a liquid filled 0-300? degree. The gauge was $30 plus a few bucks for the short piece of rod stock. Not counting my time, I can build two for the price of an ESR...

I bought one from Ebay that is mounted to an inline finned cooler... No WAY I could make one that looks good enough to put on my quad for that cheap considering what my time is worth to me (and my hourly rate)...

Here is the Ebay store, gauges section:

30.00 bucks! Good for you......wish I had access to machinery like that! You should knock a couple out and post'em for sale in here. Ever make a carrier or anything else?

im just guessing it would take an hour or better to make, i dont know many machinists who work for $10 per hour. i doubt aceman would like to sell for less than $60, still $10 less than the one on ebay.

a link to the esr one. i like the esr look alot better. has anyone actually checked for a diffrence in coolant temp with the inline finned heatsink thingy? it just dosent seem to me like it would make much diffrence, its such a small surface area (even with the fins) in comparison to the radiator. i know the pwr radiators make a huge diffrence, but they have something like 50% more surface area due to the added thickness, and a higher capacity to boot.
