does anyone have a factory 88-89 hood with the light in it yet in working condition that they want to get rid of. let me know thanks alot guys

the light works, I'm looking at it right now. I took it off of a running bike. I don't have a camera with me at the moment, I can send you a camera phone picture if you send me your cell number.

I think the 86/87 250R lights and lights from other Honda ATV/ATC's of the same time period may fit the 88/89 hoods also. If so you would just need the rubber/chrome cap side spacers.

And there is a nice 89 white OEM hood and a nice 88 red OEM hood on ebay right now, just listed today by someone, not me. Neither one has a light in it... red one looks to have the spacers.

86-87 250r headlight will not fit 88-89, but 300ex that fits on the handle bars will. The only difference is the adjusting tab. 300ex doesnt have the adjusting tab. You can grind the mounting spacers just a bit to make the headlight a little tight and it works great. Here is a picture of a 250r and a 300ex.
