400ex buring oil

hey i just went riding yestrday 93/8/09) and i noticed during my warm up time my 2002 400ex was buring a little oil. I checked the oil and it was fine but i could smell and see a little of smoke come from my pipe (only when i had the throttle pinned). Any of you guys know what can be the problem thanks.

what color smoke? where exactly is the smoke coming from?

myn dose this also dosnt smoke till u get on it hard i was told it was my rings but i dono i would like to kno too

it is monst likely the valve stem seals passing oil through the valves. but dont worry about, its ok for it to smoke a little bit or only when its on full throttle.

the smoke is white and it is coming from my exhaust pipe. i was wondering if i had a bad ring or gasket somewhere?
