Swingarm off an 07R

I just purchased a used swinger-arm OEM off and 07R I want to send to you to coat in firered. As for what I send with it , I want to send it without bearings or anything so to make it easier for you, less to mess around with.


You've done a few of my parts so far. I just wish I had a money tree as some of these racers have so I could have done my R up all in one shot.

You coated my a-arms, bumper and grabbar all in firered and polished or your newer chrome PC. They have all held up great just to let you know.


I wanted to do a few other small parts at once like motor mounts or my front sproket washer, but I just dont have the money to buy extra's. Im saving for a new linkage and rear shock to run with this new swinger so thats where all my money is going now.

I've never removed pivot bolt bearings before is there an easy method.

also I see 2 large rubber pieces behind where the pivot bolt would go through, Those just pop off. Sorry to be pain just want to be sure I dothis correctly

Let see....

Youll have an inner and outer dust seal that need to come out and then the bearings. If your unsure just send it and I will get them out for ya.

The dust seals will come out with a thin flat blade screw driver, just be easy with them so you dont deform or break them

The bearings will come out easily most of the time. Just find a socket that fits to the outer edge of the bearing and drive them out...again easily. They can be ruined very quickly even if you do it as gently as possible!

I see near the carrier there is a large bolt thats only on 1 side, does that have to come out as well ?

Nope, it can stay there. I tape off the area where the brake mount rides so no worries

well I cant seem to remove the bearings so I will leave it for you.


My dad and I got the outer seals off both sides and the dust covers n/p but the bearings aren't moving. Dad thinks one needs replacing anyways so if you can let me know how much that will be and I'll change them at the same time. I hope after this is all said and done I can use more of my power now. Im very light and with my hrc cam I cant use much more than 3/4 throttle now or it starts wheelying.

Bearings have arrived and im waiting on them to be installed. Turned out spectacular:p

I dropped the ball on getting parts to my mechanic and I apologise. He got over run with work last week and I ended up right in the middle of it with the stuff I had for him but wasnt first in line:p

I didnt get a reciept with the bearings so as soon as I have that cost i can price it out for ya.

Was born this way, im sure you talk to so many. Im legally blind in both eyes. One is 20/200 the other isn't rated.

I been riding with a freind that races, he just picked up 2 KTM's sx and the xc model. Thats why I need to redo my rearend. My derisi setup was ok till I started pushing myself harder. I love whoops and jumping,
Cant do that huge air thing though. I cant judge the landing good enough. I been riding since my first 85 200x 3wheeler on the same land so I know it pretty well, when I go to a new track I follow my friend for 2 laps or so then im fine after that.

Think you told me last time your son is legally blind in one eye.

yeah cody is in the one eye. They corrected most of it when he was young thankfully!

AH thats nice they were able to correct his. Mine is the obtic nerve is underdeveloped so not much can be done. I get around just fine :)

His had something to do with a muscle in the eye that prevented it from focusing. He had a set of glasses that was neutral glass on one side and a pop bottle thick on the other:p It forced his eye muscle to strengthen etc.

Where we stand is all. Not trying to rush you or anything. Just want to make sure I have enough cash still in my account when you get the bearings in. I get paid monthly as priviously stated. I dont want to be short when you get the job completed.
