My buddys dad is selling his old TRX300 2wd for 1400-1500$

fairly new(late 90's)
only thing it really needs is new tires
my buddy had torn it all to hell but it was fixed back to looking and perfoming new

kinda apprehensive though becuase both him and his dad never let off the gas when they shift and ive heard some less that great noises from the trans

any input?

If it has trans issue DON'T GET IT. it costs more than the quads worth to fix it. But if its just a slipping clutch or something try to low ball him for cheaper. just my 2 cents.

You can get more machine then a 300 2X4 in that price range. I'd say $1200 tops if everything is good.

LMAO! You think the difference between a 400ex and a 300ex is "hardly noticable"? I don't even think he's talking about the 300ex.
