xc arms advice

saturday i practically totaled my quad and broke my wrist at a xc race in ohio. i found a cheap z400 im looking at and will b setting it up for xc. i kno suspension cmes first so anyone kno of an a-arm company that makes the max ground clearance a arms for the z? or any other suggestions that wnt break the bank? also i plan on doing 40 shocks up front. wat about a rear shock?
