Looking for a seat for 1989 trx250r. The plastic grooves that fit into the frame on my seat are really worn. Thanks...

I have a black gripper seat with honda written down each side in white. $125 shipped let me know if your interested I can post pics

He's talking about were the front of the seat locks into the frame.

Does the 89 have plastic molded into it or does it have the steel bracket? I've never seen an 89 seat pan........just curious.

I have a 88-89 style with a OMF seat bracket. Cover is OK condition and says "JEW" across the back. Plastic NOT included. $125 shipped to the lower 48.

No need for pics....I seen Dunatics seat.
I was just curious.......never new the 89 was molded like that.

Thats the truth...The 88-89 are both that way.

heres some pics but its actually an 86-87 i dont think there is a difference except for the one is molded and the other has the metal that bolts onto the seat. let me know if your interested i live in cape may so not sure how far away that is from you

the rear seat latches are different as well. Cant remember is you can interchange them from one pan to another though

Interested in your seat LTR 250, but I want to make sure that it will fit on my quad! I live in Mount Laurel, less than 2 hrs away from you. Here are pix of where my seat has worn out. I just bought this quad about 3 weeks ago, tore it down to the frame for a rebuild, my first time. Trying to get parts together.

yeah i know what your talking about, the 86-87 seat is metal there instead of that plastic. im 99.9% sure it will fit. this seat has been on a 86 and a 89 before the only thing is it had a aftermarket rear latch. it will come with the stock latch though. do you have a stock rear latch or aftermarket?? if you want you can come pick it up for $100 check your pm's

I do not have an aftermarket rear latch, and the stock one that i do have is junk. Hopefully the seat fits with your aftermarket latch, that would be great!! PMed you back, thanks again.
