i have a stroker 460 with stage 3 hotcams on the stock carb what jetting should i use i had a 155 main jet but it was running a little lean my mechanic took it all the way up to a 195 today and said it kept getting faster every time he went up on the jets i got the bike home road up and down the road about 5 times then on my six run i hit it and it bogged and a cloud off smoke came out so i switched gears and it kept bogging in every gear but it stopped smoking so i stopped checked the bike and did it again and the same thing happened i then rode it again and it rode fine but i still took it back to the shop and the mechanic is going to check it for me.

IMO--195 sounds too rich. Try a 185.

i would say about a K180 main jet and 45 pilot. if i remember right that's how mine was before i went to a 450r carb...

Maybe look for a 450r carb and that 460 will surprise the hell out of you:devil:

i buy the carb for a 04-05 trx 450r. servicehonda.com has them for $175. i have had my heads severally ported and polished on my 500ex for drag racing and just a mild port and polish on my other bikes. it makes a big difference. +1mm valves really help the head flow better. mine are done that way. +3 in the 500ex. with a mild P+P and +1mm valves you should jump 2-3 main jet sizes
