Front Shocks !!!

I was washing my 450 today and had it setting on a stand with all four tires off the ground and I noticed some slack in my front shock springs and I could turn the two large nutts that keep tention on the springs with my hand. Is this normal when the wheels are off the ground??? Thanks.

Should not be able to turn the nuts by hand, just turn the one down till it touches the spring, maybe a turn or to more to get you ride height, then tighten the 2 against each other.

refer to your manual to get your preload set. It is a good starting piont.
