450r carb. throttle cable slack

I got a new 450r carb. throttle cable and put it on me 400ex with the 450r carb. and there is alot of slack and it is adjusted as tight as possible, when I hit the throttle there is alot of play in it.

Anyone else have this problem-how did you fix it?

Get a 450r throttle cable.

Did you adjust it at the carburetor AND the thumb throttle? There should be plenty of adjustment to take up the slack unless you have the wrong cable

I adjusted at the throttle housing and the carb. and there is still alot of slack and I dont know how to get rid of it?
