got a 07 400ex. right now it is bone stock. what sprockets do i need to put on it to help in the woods/trails and hill climbing? I plan on adding a pipe for it...and i got some holeshot hd tires to put on it...if either matters!

probably a 14 in the front and what ever is stock in the rear, the 14 will give u more bottom end

400ex is 15/38 stock

actually the years vary. my 06 400ex has a 14 in the front stock

Go with the 13 tooth in the front. All I do is ride the dunes with my 400. I run at 13 in the front and it gives me plenty of torque to make it up pretty much anything in 2nd gear... some things in 3rd. I can even do 2nd gear starts for drag racing.
