Just installed my HMF slip on today, what a freakin difference. I held out for 2 years not to upgrade my exhaust so I can keep riding the track at my house without disturbing neghbors. Now I'm wondering why I didn't do it sooner.
Now for a quick jetting question, my 400 pulls hard in all ranges, the only place I can see where I need to go richer is in the pilot jet( it pops on deceleration). Or will the low speed screw in the float bowl work for me? Would you guys still go richer on the main jet even though it's running fine, maybe like a 155? thanks for your help, sorry so long.:square

I wouldn't change the main if it is working good...what is your fuel screw set at now?

The HMF is a great pipe! I would just play with the air/fuel screw.

I disagree adjusting the air fuel screw will help but to get the most gain you must rejet, a motor is just a big air pump the more air it flows (adding exhaust) the more fuel it needs in the same ratio as the air flow!to run at its potential, the most hp gain will be felt when jetting is richened
