Mx 87 or 88 swinger

What swinger is better for mx? My buddy just bought an 87 and its all stock chassis. We've got it almost all the way torn down and ready to build. Should be sweet when its done.

Go with the 88/89 length swinger! They handle better than 86/87 length!

Since its an 87 frame, id put a 450r swingarm on for a few reasons. Its not 21 years old, eaiser to get parts for, better aftermarket following, and its an easy swap. There is a sticky in this forum about it. I would shy away from an origional swingarm mostly because of age. I race XC and i broke my 89 swingarm in half, Probably because of age and abuse. But thats my .02 cents
