i know this aint the right place for this but i have a 1986 250r and a 1985 tecate three wheeler, my three wheeler has a twist throttle and i want to put a thumb throttle on it would the thumb throttle on my 250r work on my tecate, if not what kind would work.

i believe it would work but u need a difer cable

ya i figured i would need a different cable, but was just wandering if the thumb throttle would work on it.

yeah, it will work. You will need a 85, ONLY 85 atc250r cable or motion pro 01-0060 cable. Yours had a mikuni TM carb, right. Stock carb that it came with also?? The tecate I had somekind a keihen carb was put on it.

If you have a different carb, you will have to match it up on this chart

ok thanks man, yeah it has the stock carb on it right now. And ya i will just try and find a 85 act250r thumb throttle and cable.
