cr250 ingnition pictures needed

I just got what i was hoping was the cr ignition off ebay has the esr mounting plate. It didn't come with a coil so i got one from a 2001 cr. The problem is the coil plugs on the harness are both female and the coil has one male and a stud for a bolt. Can i get some pictures on the coil and cdi from you kind gentalmen lol. Thanks guys

i think this is a '96 cr250 cdi and coil, not 100% sure on the year

the coil is male, cdi is female. hope this helps

the green wire from the coil is ground, the green wire from the cdi is ground. as long as they both terminate at the frame the ignition should work properly, mine are both bolted to the laminated plate on the coil and a bridging wire to the frame makes the connection to ground. you could make a short jumper wire with a round screw connector on one end and male bullet connector on the other to ground the cdi if you dont want to tamper with the factory wire ends.

Looks like 01 CR parts as far as the CDI box is conncerned. The green wire going to the coil should be a thru bolt type connector though.

Sweet i'll just switch out the green wire connecter with a bolt one. Thanks for the help
