my coming 400ex

This February i'm getting my own 400ex and i was just wondering about a few things, should i go off the dot and buy a 42 pilot jet, and how many people are riding with their snorkle? would it be alright to remove it?

I dont ride with the snorkle, because I dont ride in water and I removed my airbox lid. As for the pilot, I'd go to a #40.

If its completly stock then don't change the jets unless its really cold out or your up in the mountains. Something like that.
