Ok i want to know which i should go for DMC Afterburner or LRD Pro 4 Series?

This is for a 2002 400ex with 426 11:1 engine with a 450r carb.

To be honest idk what im going to do with this atv i picked it up cheap (first sport quad iv owned) and decided to build it just to have fun on so i dont know what im aiming for power wise.. low-mid-top etc... I want my mods to compliment each other... if a 426 is a good low end motor i guess i should go with a low end pipe right?

Just looking for some direction here and i have found both pipes fairly cheap on ebay i dont want to spend much over $250

I have an LRD full system with airbow open with k&n, jetted, everything else stock. My buddy has a 400ex with 440 kit k&n and a Procircut T-4 slip on and he would pull me two bike lengths every time before i got my LRD. After I put the LRD on I pull him by 2 bikes. Huge difference in power, sound is awesome too.

They have good support also...

Hope this helps

Lets say that the 426 is a good low end motor. You dont want a low end pipe. You want to even out the power all across the power curve. So you should get a mid-top end pipe.

Since your adding the stage 2 cam it will add power every where especially in the mid-top part of the power curve. So i say get a sparks pipe, take your lid off, and get a uni filter and rejet.

That will make your bike put out some awesome power with a good curve.

Sparks is to expensive i have to much money wrapped up in this thing the way it is. My spending limit is $250

if you only have 250 bucks to spend i'd buy a white brothers e-series, take all of the discs off of it and run it with an open end cap. that will give you all the mid-top end power you want, but at the same time it's loud as hell

LRD that's what I got, I liked the power of the LRD megaphone so I decided to try my luck with the Pro 4. Seems like a solid built pipe. I can't tell you how much power it has or how it sounds like because I can't get the dang thing to spark.
