Hey guys I am needing some help jetting, I posted this in the hybrid forum, but no help.
I have an 03 Crf450, stock carb.
HMF exhaust, open air box, uni filter, 1500ft elevation.
Any help on a starting point? I can't seem to get it dialed right. Thanks Mitch.

45pilot, 175 main, stock leak jet, slip on pipe, needle middle clip and fuel screw 2 turns out. Hard starting, but I blame that on Honda because it has a brand new head. It cuts out a tad at full throttle, which means a larger main jet correct? I am gonna try a 180. From zero to half throttle seems fine, just a little hesitation. Any ideas??? Also I am completely uneducated on leak jets, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mitch.

I have also heard the hesitation is caused by the accelerator pump, I need to invest in an aftermarket unit. Just want to get jetting as good as I can before I try to make things more complicated.

for the hard starting, check for tight valves. 45 pilot or 48 pilot. get a quick shot 2. stock leak jet should be ok. I have richin leak jet to help with a hesatation. fuel screw 2.5 turns. stock needle 3 rd position. 180-185 main

remember on leak jet
smaller number,the richer
larger number, the leaner
