Precision Dampner Mounting

Just bought one of these and am wondering my options in mounting it. I thought it simply mounted on the front frame rail, but I've seen others run it behind the stem as well.

Here's a pic of what I'm looking at, hopefully one of you guys can help me out.

I thought about running it behind the stem as well, but it looks like my tinner scoops might be in the way.

I'm pretty sure it was designed to be ran in front of the stem. The 450 model is anyway.

How much did you end up getting it for Adam? I would mount it in the front as well...

It should have came with instuctions on how to install it and where. On my kfx its behind the steering stem. Had to remove the stock rad guard and had to put the um rad scoops on to make it fit. and on my ktm its in front of the steering stem. Did you by it off somebody used? They have quad specific mounts. I wouldnt want to rig it. Do it once do it right.
