I bought my quad used and these shocks have the 200lb + person springs in them. I probably weigh 185-190 with my riding gear on... but I keep reading on here that these are the most easily adjustable shocks around and the spring rates can easily be compensated for by changing the air pressures around.

What would be a good starting point for all the knobs and clickers, and then psi in the main chamber and the evol? The guy I bought it from recommended I leave the settings alone and start at 100psi in the Evol and 50 in the big chamber.

It dunes really nice, but it almost feels too soft sometimes. Maybe this is just the feel of long travel and I have to get used to it? I have never ridden a long travel quad before I got this one!

I can't charge through whoops like I thought I would be able to because it's too soft... but I think it may have to do with my rear shock. It's revalved/resprung for a 235lb rider as well, and I think it's probably bucking me all over the place. I still get the feeling that my front end is too soft though...

What are some good increments to raise air pressures to? Does 100/50 even sound right?

Thanks!!

maybe since they were set up for a little bit heavy rider,

i run 150/175 or 50/75 depending on conditions

id say just test different pressures its all on how you like it

as for the knobs i have really got into setting them up i like how it rides

first set up the ride height with you on the bike. then go from there. if there to soft sounds like you need to pump up the evol chamber by increments of 5 psi at a time and try them out. you can always email fox and tell them your setup and weight and they will give you a starting point on where to set the psi for the evol and main chambers to get it close to whats best for you.

it depends what bike, and a arms. i have 05 trx450r with walsh. I run 180, and 42. I am 225 with gear, and my bike handles like a champ. get the body roll out of it, handle much better in the turns.honestly what i did was i started a 130, then went to 200, and worked my way in between. one step at a time do that with compression and rebound etc; start at the lowest, then to the most extreme. it will take a while, but its worth the time.
