Acerbis Handguards? [Archive]

I will be getting some Acerbis Hand Guards soon and I know that on the throttle side you have to do somthing in order to make that side fit.

I will be getting the handguards that have the open end and do no connect to the end of the handlebars.

Post some pictures of these handguards. And tell how you go them to fit.

here are flag mx handguards..they fit onto the perches of the brake and cluthc lever..great looking guards

these are my brothers acerbid handguards, these are for the CR 250 though, so their a little smaller, but they fit right on

this is what i did too mine, i had to drill a hole for the banjo fitting for the brake line, the problem for me was that without the hole drilled the end of the hand gaurd would hit the end of my brake lever.
fit awsome, went on real easy and i think they look cool as he11, im gonna get em for my R too.

love my hand guards. only a year old and they are beat. i have the kind w/ the alum. frame w/ outer plastic cover. work nice and fit on my renthals no problem.

nice handguards, is that a durablue lowering kit btw? How do you like it? Can you jump with it on there?

the gaurds with the aluminum bars actually strengthen the bars.

my bike landed up side down on the bars and flipped up right and the stem bent and not the bars..

haha i just bought a pair of aceris handguards like a half hour ago , what timing, I bought the same ones as Quad041 but mine are red.
