85 350x ??

1985 HONDA ATC 350X, new motor and carberator, asking $800.
--thats the ad, think it would be worth the 3 hour drive to go take a look at it? I don't really know too much about the 350x's, so any iput would be great. thanks, neil

Take a look on ebay for what other 350x's are going for. I have noticed with the older three wheelers that value has a lot to do with how many original parts on on the quad and the overall condition.
Like for instance on the 350x there are certain parts that are worth a good bit of money. The factory mudflap on the rear plastic and the double headlight assembly. There are other valuable parts but those stick in my head.
If the 350x your looking at looks and runs really good then it would def. be worth $800
They are fun machines. I have had two of them over the years.

do they have a reasonable amount of power and speed? like compared to a 400ex? I know they used the motors to put in 300ex's so im guessing its more than a 300ex motor. thanks again

(I mean people swap the motors out with the 300)

They aren't slow but they deff aren't your choice for a land speed record lol I have one that I found without a title for 700 bucks, the thing is MINT!! it has holeshot rear tires but other then that it's by far the best looking I've come across.. I'm not sure if I want to buy it yet or not, I LOVE riding them.. The front end comes up at the blip of a throttle and they are just as nimble as the 250r.. AHH I can see it now airin that biatch out at Breezewood, anyone seem to remeber good ol CODY from huevos hahah.. :p

Hey man, nothing personal, but I HATE when that term is used to describe something, and it isn't "mint". I've made a lot of trips, covering many miles to see something the seller claims is mint, only to find a piece of SH*T or something loaded with aftermarket or non-original parts.
