Dragging clutch...

I bought a used 2005 TRX400EX. I changed the oil to Amsoil 10W-40 motorcycl oil and now the clutch drags bigtime.

Any ideas, other than clutch replacement?

Different oil? I have no idea what oil was in the quad before I changed it, but it ran fine and shifted like normal.

check the cable tension
mine was adjusted way to tight and was doing the same thing
i think you should have 3/8 play at the lever

3/8 is alot of play. You are supposed to have a nickel between the perch and lever before it starts to engage.
