new chain and sprockets

i was riding today and found out i broke 2 teeth off my front sprocket. i have a 15 on the front and 40 on the back. when i really get on it in 2nd and some of third the front starts to come up. i'm just going to order a new everything and am wondering what size i should go to. to not lose that snap, but not to have the front pull up on me out of corners. its on an 03 ltz, full yoshi, k&n, no lid, jet kit

you should stay with the rear gear and go down to 14 in the front.

does that give me more top end or faster acceleration? i used to know this stuff when i rode sport bikes, but forgot a lot of little things
