Filter question

Alright I got a K&N for Christmas w/ the outerwear and my question is: Do you guys/gals have any problems w/ the outerwear not fitting all the way on? 'Cause my buddy has one on his R and it fits to the boot, but I can still see the lower part of the filter, like it's not long enough. :confused:

you obviously have the wrong outerwear. it should fit all the way over the filter.

I was hoping not to here that. :mad: My fiance ordered it from Rocky Mountain for Christmas. Guess I'll give 'em a shout.

Yep, I called today and they said she ordered one for an ATC 250R, but what I don't understand is that the only thing you have to do is add "ow" to the end of the part no. and I got the right filter. Anyway, they said to send it back w/ $5.95 to cover the shipping, since it was an internet order, she said "it's not like we messed it up in shipping." :confused: Even though they just had to add "ow" to the end. I think I'll give them another call and ask them about that.
