after i put in my 11:1 piston, i felt a power loss, instead of a power gain. Does anyone know what is wrong. Also the power loss i not a major loss, but it seems to bog down more then it usually does.

Yeah first off break her in slow.

11.1 piston usually runs better with something more than pump gas,,you need you some 110 or something.

and the bogging part sounds like she needs a bigger pilot jet.

I'll have to say i have put a few 11:1's in and never felt a power loss at any point, Most of the bikes were broke in with the factory jetting, After break-in the jets were modified. If youre bike suddenly lost power when you installed the piston it could be many things:. like
1-timing could be off maybe one tooth, out either direction
2-improper bore(if you had it bored).
3-was it honed before the new piston was added it should have nice cross hatch marks in the cylinder
4-did you put the rings in the right place(chrome on top, moly or black second.
5-is the timing chain tensioner installed properly.
