I have cleaned the carb and Put a new spark plug in and didn't make any differance.
I am stumped!! Just thought someone might have had this same problem before?

Have you removed the TORS mechanism from it?

What is the TORS ?
Never heard of it.

It is the Throttle Over Ride System. It is that contraption located above the carb.It is designed to shut down the trottle in the event of a stuck WOT situation. They were notorious for causing problems on the Blasters.

My blaster did the sane thing and beleie it or not it was the reeds in it.

I noticed that big thing on top of the carb... But I'm not sure of what it is or how it works. I was afraid to do anything with it.

I did check the reeds and they are fine.

Could be your reeds, but its most likely your tors. have you done an mods lately? whats your jetting?

The only mods are a Jet kit and pipe.
Pretty much stock.

WvSpeedfreak... Is there a way to fix the TORS?

What is the WOT?

WOT= wide open throttle. There are several companies that make a kit to get rid of the tors (Vitos maybe??).It consists of a new throttle cable and some other required pieces.I don't think they are real expensive.Maybe some of the Blaster guys on here could direct you to the best place to get one.

is there a way to fix the one that is on here??
Is there a chance that there is dirt in it... or is there
probably something broken?

Double and triple checked the choke!!
I have never delt with the TORS before.
I was wandering if it is something I can take apart and clean up?
Or Maybe a ez fix?

Or Maybe a ez fix? You can just unplug it from the carb. http://www.blasterforum.com/showthread.php?t=655 The pics were removed but it gives you the idea.

Yea I understand. When the guy who created the thread got banned, he decided to be a a** and deleted the pics *sigh*. When I bought my blaster the tors had already been removed so I can't help out too much. But it seems pretty simple and lots of people have done it.

I've never owned a Blaster. My bud who works at the local dealer has had many people with the same problem. Buy the TORS eliminator kit. Also check your reed cage and gasket.

I have checked both and they are fine.
I'm pretty sure it is this TORS
I just wish there was a way to test it and find out.

Do you have a shop manual for the bike? If not, definitely buy one. Well worth the money.:macho I have one for every machine I own. It breaks down every part of the machine and explains how to fix things and how they work.

first off, whether its the problem or not you should definitely get rid of the TORS setup. all 3 blasters i had we removed, it saves you work in the long run and it seems to run better without it. also don't forget that by removing that system you will now have to mix the gas instead of just using that lovely little tank yamaha throws on there for the mix (do yourself a favor and pull that off as well seeing as it will just be taking up space). if they doesn't fix it try changing out the cylinder head gasket, last time i worked on a blaster it was doing the same thing and changing the gasket fixed the problem.
