I want to get a new seat cover, i cant find any gripper seat covers anywhere, i just want it in solid black, i found a ceet on ebay but it doesnt look alike anything special. Rockymountain atv has one too but its some company i never heard of, any opinions or advice of where to get one would be great.

If you were looking at the FX factory effex from rockymountain, it is an excellent cover. I bought one for my bro's 450r and it works and looks great. The key will be installation which takes care and patience! (that's what mom's are for!)

get one from ebay, i have had one, they are good quality, 30 bucks, and im buying from them again. they will make it any color you want. and its a gripper. just search 400ex seat cover

most people will say they are cheaply made but i had one and was awesome, i sold the bike it was on, but im buying one soon for the 400ex.

A second vote to get the gripper seat off of ebay. I picked one up for about $32 to my door. The seat is excellent quality and fit near perfect. I got mine black gripper down the middle and then black carbon fiber on the sides. Looks great.

here is one i got for my old custom polaris trailblazer, im about to buy one for the 400ex, ill post a review like thing in the body section if you would like.

btw this isnt the gripper, they diddnt make a gripper for my TB.

If i went with the ebay seat i was thinking of getting that color combo just the other way around, black down the middle and kawi green on the sides to match my bike and tank cover. What do you guys think that or all black.

ive seen a quad almost identical to yours WITH the EXACT seat you described.

nah i would go all black if i were you. but that's my opinion.

i just got a ONE Industries gripper for 50 or 60 from Rocky Mountain and is good quality. havnt put it on yet or i would post pics

it's a happy medium; sticker than the factory cover, but not so tacky that you can't move. i only rode verrrrry briefly with the stock cover on, but i have been nothing but happy with this cover.
