I have a set of PEP LT shocks for a 450r or 400ex. I bought them from a kid to use on my 450r but they need some work and I dont really wanna mess with them. They are 19.5" eye to eye. He said he ran them on JB racing a-arms. They will need serviced. One shock has a broken line to the rezzie and it also has the bottom eye bent where it goes into the shaft. I paid $300 for them not knowing that the one was bent. Ill take reasonable offers, im just trying to salvage some of my money.

I tore the bottom eye off of the bent shock and the threads are bent which means the whole shaft needs replaced. I just got off of the phone with SF racing and a new shaft will be $65 and service through them is $90. So you are looking at less than $200 for a new shaft service and a new ss line to the rezzie. $200 plus under $200 for repair and you have a nice set of shocks for under $400

your forgetting about the 150.00 front shock service and the 90.00 per upgrade that will be needed on the valving piston....plus valving costs.....and shipping both ways.

just sayen

hey thanks for "just sayin" service is $90 not $150 upgrades are exactly that...upgrades...they arent nessasary but yes service is $60 plus any additional costs like valving and new seals and all that. Not everyone will need them revalved. Right now they are valved for a 165lb rider.

they have been putting new pistons in them ....going from the ball bearing style to the shim stack style.

here's the link click (http://www.sfracingonline.com/services.html) it says. front shocks service 100 per pair valving serive is 150 pair plus parts...hence the 90 per for piston plus any shims etc...and everyone should have them valved correctly while they are there.
