i left my key on for a few days on my z400. it was completely dead.i have it on the charger now charging at 6 volts. is that what i should use or should i do 12? also, is my battery going to be shot now?

no you should not be charging it on 6 volts. it is a 12 volt battery.
the battery may be shot now depends on how long you have been charging it. Trickle charge on 12 volt setting around 2 amps

If it is 12 volt then you should be charging 12 volts!I'd put a trickle charger on it.May take a day or two to come back but hopefully you didn't kill it.Depends on how old also.
But definetly 12 volts!

ok, thanks. i wasn't thinking when i asked that, but yea i did put it on 12 volts but its just a car charger that doesn't have different amp settings on it. after it charged for a while, i was riding it so i guess it still works. thanks for the help though
