OK, it looks to be a Durablue unit, it seems it can only lower the rear from the stock level, not raise it- it gets longer- the rear goes down. It looks to be about closed up right now and up next to my stock dog bone its about the same- 6 3/8" in that pic, eye to eye. So I don't think it could raise much, only lower. I never ran it. Got a parts quad and selling off the stuff i don't need. I would guess that it could drop the back 2"-3", the website did not say that I could find. Thanks

are they shorter than the 86? if so then i guess i would like to try one and see if it works or if its too far lifted. if any one has one i would like to try it out.

87-89 had a shorter dog-bone, due to the length of shock. 85, 86, 87 and 88/89 had different length shocks. 85 and 86 are the longest shock body and rod, so they needed a longer dog bone. The shocks got shorter as they go on and the dog bone had to shorten also/

so would a 88 dogbone on all 86 stuff raise the ride heigth?

I cant say for sure..................but you would think it would!

Just dont know what its gonna do to shock/linkage ratios?

I had a 88 that sat lower in the back than I thought it should.
Turns out the dogbone was from an 86!
Swapped in the 88 dogbone and BAM!
Problem solved!
This was an all 88 rearend though.
