spark arrestor trick???

i was just wondering if u could take out ur spark arrestor and airbox lid like on an lt-r to untap a little more power??

If you take out the spark arrestor you will actually lose a little power. I think it's round almost 2hp. So I've heard. But if you take the top off of the air box it will add a little kick. Be careful though, seems like for me my front end came up alot easier. If you live in a dusty climate try not to ride too much without the lid on or else you'll get alot of dirt and dust in there.
