View Full Version : Regular vs. Long Travel

Sooner or later, I'm going to do a front suspension kit on my 250r with +2 A-Arms and piggyback shocks. I notice a healthy price gap between a package with standard arms and the 'long travel' arm & shock combo.

I don't ride competitively, just fast woods riding, hills, fields, trails, and want to hit the dunes this year.

Is the long travel kit worth spending $2000-$2500+/- on for me?? Anything has to be better than worn out stockers...

i wouldnt go LT unless you know how to adjust it perfectly to use all of the travel effectivly. I have no idea how to but one of my friends knows everything about shocks and they are set up really nice now.
