Im getting a full FMF titanium exhuast system, K&N air fliter and removed air lid. Whats the ball park starting point for jetting reccomendations? Thanks a lot.

Also, I want to install a pro armor kill switch and remove my key switch. How and which wires do i cut into. Im also grounding my radiator fan to run all the time just in case this matters. Thanks!

I would start @ 135 main with a 42.5 pilot and take it for a ride if it stumbles in the mid range but pulls hard up top either lower the clip on the needle or put a 0.020" shim under the clip
after that ride it for about 5 minutes then take it in 4th or 5th to wide open throttle and shut it off and let off he throttle at te same time check plug use a light and try and see as far down inside the plug as possible should be tan to grey if dark brown or black jet down a couple of sizes if white jet up a couple. with these mods you wont be able to feel a jetting stumble a WOT because you will hit the stock rev limiter
and this is probably gonna get me in trouble with somebody but your stock air filter will out flow a K&N by 115 CFM sorry dude if you have anymore questions PM or email me

hey, thanks a lot. Ill test that out tomorrrow. I bought the bike with the k & N filter. Im a foam filter guy myself. I did notice that there seems to be some blow-by at my head pipe. Do the 450r's have the exhaust rings that go between the head and exhaust to prevent this. I was fine until i put my powerbomb header on today and now the area around the head pipe is black dusty carbon. Thanks for the help!

nice. I have a PEP 8 click big bottle coming next week to match the fronts. By far the best frontend setup ive ever run. Hopefully everything will get finished up for this season on time.
