ER and R?

Just wondering, is it possible to take a ER, put the kicker conversion kit on it, but still keep the electric start? Like to have the kicker as a backup.

Yeah it can be done. A list of parts you need have been posted many times, if you do a search you should be able to find it.

It sure is... I was gonna do that to mine and remove the electric start all together.... I called Baldwin and he told me it would cost more to remove it, cause I had to add more stuff to make up for the loss of the battery.... So I just decided to keep the button....

what about the hot start button and the auto compression release? and, by chance, is there a set of instructions on how complete this install? or is just basically replace what have already?
