Over the weekend and monday nights progress-

Refurbished my LSR rear bearing carrier with the housing rebuild kit, installed the rear carrier, lsr axle, lsr antifade, Fire red hubs, mounted the razr yellow labels on the new douglas ultimate 8x8 rear beadlocks and installed

hendershot106
03-03-2009, 11:51 AM
My race modified harness came saturday, Baldwin trimmed everything neatly, resealed all and installed a new pro design kill switch with a quick release couple for easy installation. This mod is very pricey!! But well worth it in my opinion!!!!

My Cylinder head, piston, cam, intake, programmer all arrived monday afternoon. I installed all and the baldwin harness monday night, as well as a complete teardown for jetting on the carb.

I removed the throttle spring and shortened it for an easy thumb throttle pull, installed the following jetting

175 keihin mainjet
NCVQ needle, clip set 4th groove from top
55 leak jet
stock pilot
Works connection Fuel screw 2.5 turns out

The plastic tank tray was also trimmed of all excess plastic and mounts and i tapped all of the frame mounting bolts and mounted the rath pro peg mounts.

modified plastic tank tray support. I trim the front tabs flush with the hump for the spark plug and trim the rear mounts to the mounting holes for the honda plastic rivets. These extra areas are not needed on a race bike after modifying the vent hose routing and wiring harness. Trimming the front of the tray also makes it much easier for maintenance removal.

Sunline Revolver Rotating handguards and EC-1 AOF Rotating Clutch perch

hendershot106
03-05-2009, 09:23 AM
Installed handguards, clutch perch, sunline brake rotator clamp, Tag T-2 CR HI black handlebars, tag soft mx grips (used two left side dirt bike grips), Pro Design kill switch, and cut the tag bar pad to fit over top/ behind the atv fourplay steering stem clamp kill switch mount.

hendershot106
03-05-2009, 09:27 AM
I then installed the Rath PRO PEG nerf bars i had already netted and tightened stainless peg mount bolts. I shortened the mounting bolts on the stainless pegs so they did not protrude past the end of the nylock nut.

hendershot106
03-05-2009, 09:31 AM
I installed the air box/boot. I used the sparks filter/billet flange kit as well as an airbox lifter kit from houser. My HMF ironman pro series exhaust then went on with a new exhaust gasket, i left the rear mounting tab loose to allow movement for the Rath grab bar mounting of plastic. Also, notice the Russell rear steel braided brakeline. I purchased some automotive style brakeline clamps to secure the line to the swingarm.

hendershot106
03-05-2009, 09:33 AM
I mounted the rear black poly moose chain slider. This slider matches the moose poly case saver perfect and is about $20 less than a TM unit.

hendershot106
03-05-2009, 09:37 AM
After securing all wiring and harness plug ins, clutch, and throttle cable routing, and emery sanding the steering stem to move freely at the clamp, i mounted the stock 07 fuel tank

hendershot106
03-05-2009, 09:43 AM
Mounted the Honda OEM Chaos black metallic 09 Rear Fenders and the OEM Ross White 09 Front Fenders. Slid on the Quad-tech seat i had made in black/black/white with new seat foam. Also test fit the Quad-tech Carbon Look Scooped Hood. I chose the Rath pro pegs with NO heelguard this year.

Still waiting on my custom graphics from e-sticky to arrive. Leaving for Durhamtown plantation friday night, so tonight will be break in, alignment, ride height, mount chain, and re-check all bolts, nuts, and clips.

03-05-2009, 09:55 AM
thats badasssss...

hendershot106
03-05-2009, 09:58 AM
As i mentioned above, still have to mount chain after ride height set. I have all lsr spacers inside rear hubs now, but i will be putting one spacer to the outside on each side to keep from sliding into turns too much.

Pre prints also e sticky.

additionally i installed my cnc lasered front and rear # plates from white plastic stock. (no pics yet) They are 6 x 6 to mount cleanly in the front rath bumper with the honda style push pins.

Notice the 400ex style thumb throttle also, it was easy to remove tps wire due to baldwin harness mod.

My bro and I went so sunset saturday..place is super nice. The track falls apart after awhile but when it's in good shape, it's really nice and loamy. If you did well at ballance, you'll do good over here. I'll be there watchin for sure.

Ran them all weekend... they are awesome!!! the fronts turn just as great if not better than my maxxis did, and the rears hook awesome with about 6.5 to 7 psig in them even on the inside of slick turns... i was able to set up and square off from the outside to inside with these tires anytime and anywhere.

spanky101
04-07-2009, 10:11 AM
Dont they come in 2 different compounds? and which one are you running if they do? And by the sounds im gonna be running some hoosiers if they do all that man!

hendershot106
04-07-2009, 11:11 AM
Shilling used a pair of Hoosier 20.5x6.0-10 MX200 fronts (part no.16600MX200) and for the rear he opted for the softer 18.0x10.0-8 MX100 tires (part no.16700MX100).

^^^ i run the same as shilling does. Poske's performance in Parkersburg, wv sells the hoosiers... im pretty sure the only way you can get them is from a distributor.

spanky101
04-07-2009, 11:54 AM
There is a distributor around here that i would proboly just pick them up from. Thats great to hear that you like em, i was very curious bout em. They seem really nice!
