Hi guys,

just traded a 05 crf 230 for a 04 trx250ex that runs great. Problem, while cleaning the quad, I noticed oil leaking from top of head from 2 standard screws that are opposite each other. Dealer said they are pinch bolts for the rocker arms? And that to unscrew them and replace the o ring seal, real easy, or bring it to them ($120). Is this a common problem and easy fix?

Also, the front and rear of the quad squeaks, what area do I hit with lube?

alot of samll engines leak oil over time from the head, quads, dirt bikes, go carts, everything

try putting some grease at all 3 shock mounts top and bottom, where the a-arms connect to the frame, and maybe a little on the ball joints

BUT DONT GET IT ON THE BRAKES
if you do make sure you get it off
if you dont your gonna get a nice suprise next time you hit the brakes while your riding
